EPM Data GmbH was founded in 2015 by Christoph Sommer, Dipl.-Kfm., PMP©. Christoph graduated from the University of Hamburg with a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science in 1998. Since then he specializes in SAP projects.

Consultant at SAP Consulting Germany
Christoph started his career at SAP AG as a Solution Consultant Financials & Controlling. In the first 5 years with SAP, he gained extensive industry and process knowledge in large SAP ERP implementation projects. His special expertise in this time was Cost & Profitability Analysis. In this time, he worked for the following customers:

SAP BI Senior Consultant at SAP AG
From 2003 - 2008, SAP´s BW solution became more and more popular among the SAP customer base. Christoph worked with SAP AG as a Senior Consultant SAP BI and SAP BI Project manager in the area of Management Information & Planning systems in these 5 years for following customers:

Starting a freelance career
After 10 years with SAP AG, Christoph started his freelance career in 2009. In the next 6 years, he had the possibility to work for numerous prestigious clients. His main area of expertise was in SAP BI-integrated planning and Enterprise Data Warehousing. Among his Customers were:

Founding of EPM Data
In 2015, EPM Data GmbH was founded with the goal to provide excellent SAP BI-IP, BPC and EPM consulting services to our customers. Since then, we worked for the following customers:
